Reel 1:
Part 1 (sound): Los Angeles Mayor Sam Yorty, candidate for Governor, criticizes National Farm Worker Association marchers, says march isn't effective and should be discouraged. Also criticizes "kooks and dupes" at UC Berkeley who are giving the university a bad image. "Nothing coming out of Berkeley should surprise anyone."
Part 2 (silent): Campus organization tables set up at Stanford University outside Stanford Gym during class registration, including Peace Corps, Ayn Rand Society, Stanford Sexual Rights Forum. Shots of students milling around tables, in discussion with student representatives. Story on the Sexual Rights Forum's efforts to relax social regulations around female students.
Part 3 (sound): Republican candidate for California Lieutenant Governor, Robert Finch, is asked what he thinks the office needs. Says it needs vigorous teamwork with Governor on how to solve "these new kinds of problems" in society today.
Part 4 (silent): Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors meeting approving money for Mountain View Baylands Park [what is now Shoreline area].

Part 1 (sound): Candidate for Santa Clara County Assessor, Al Barnes, accuses tax office of holding a "secret industrial file...whereby half the accounts have not been audited since 1957." Also claims there are no checks and balances in the assessor's office.
Part 2 (silent): Shots of San Jose City Council meeting in chambers, man speaking at podium, Mayor Joseph Pace at podium speaking with two men.
Part 3 (silent): San Jose City Council in secret meeting in small chambers, discussion around the table, amid concerns that the council is in violation of the Brown Act. Secret session concerns contract with The Brave Bull to operate restaurant at Municipal Airport. Council members Welsch and Shaffer refused to follow members into secret session, saying public's business should be conducted in public.
